Get to know me

I have worked in as a graphic designer since 2014 starting at Snap Printing in East Perth. I moved to Melbourne in 2016 to be closer to family and a more vibrant creative scene. I continued to work within the print industry in both creative and non creative roles, but felt something was missing.

When the pandemic hit, I took a leap of faith and studied a UX degree full time. I enjoyed being a student again and it reignited my love for design. I am excited for this next chapter of my career and joining a creative problem solving team.

Most of the time you can find me pursuing a creative activity or learning a new skill. I have many hobbies including painting, embroidery, diorama building and gaming. My biggest passion by far though, is for letterforms, having spent hundreds of hours practicing calligraphy, attending type design workshops and learning from worldwide lettering artists. I even have a 1960s Adana HQ tabletop letterpress, affectionately called Hector.

I also enjoy exploring the wealth of food options available in Melbourne with my friends, curling up with a good book and my cats, or singing my heart out to Eurovision songs.
